User Rating Guide

TipaTipa is a community. For our community to work we need to know a bit about each other, which is why we have a User Rating.

As a member you will have two star-based user ratings.

Tip Rating

You are given a rating based on how often you leave a tip when you get a really good bid on your listing. It also takes into account how easy you are to please by looking at how well you rate bids compared to other users.

Once you have 3 or more ended listings you will be given a rating between zero and three gold stars, which will be displayed when you make a listing. Your rating is updated with every ended listing.

The purpose of the rating is to help other users decide who they want to spend their time and effort trying to get a fantastic deal.

Until you have had 3 ended listings, you will be displayed as a “Newbie”.

Bid Rating

You are also given a rating based on how other users have rated the bids you have given them.

Once you have had 5 bids rated you will be given a rating between zero and 3 gold stars, which will be displayed on your bids. Your rating is updated every time a new bid is rated.

Until you have had 5 rated bids, you will be displayed as a “Newbie”.
